Eventor World was developed by the Swedish Orienteering Federation in collaboration with the International Orienteering Federation (IOF). Eventor World is a web-based application that is used for administration of competitions linked to foot orienteering, ski orienteering, mountain bike orienteering and trail orienteering. Eventor World handles, among other things, event calendar, entries, results and reporting.
Eventor World is built using accepted standards from W3C, and works together with all modern web browsers, including Firefox 1+, Safari 1+, Chrome 1+, Internet Explorer 6+ and Opera 7+. The latest version of each web browser is recommended for the complete user-experience!
In order to get your own instance of Eventor World, your federation needs to send in a letter of interest to help@eventorworld.org. Eventor World is licensed on an annual basis. The fee depends on which IOF Membership Group your country belongs to. Once you have licensed your own instance of Eventor World, you can reach it via https://<country name>.eventorworld.org. In your instance of Eventor World you can easily and logically administer most things that are connected to your federation such as competitions, clubs, members etc. You can find more detailed information about all the possibilities in Eventor World under Help and Support.
